Things To Do In Denver….

I'm in a group show at Robischon Gallery in Denver. Sweet.

I made three new paintings for the show:

Painting #6975, Acrylic on panel, 48" x 36" x 2", 2011

Painting #6978, Acrylic on panel, 48" x 60" x 2", 2011

Painting #6987, detail,Acrylic on panel, 48" x 36" x 2", 2011

These paintings do, of course, have snappy titles. I, um, didn’t write them down before they were crated.  Until I hear from the fine folks at Robischon (busy with the install) you’ll just have to speculate.

It was cold. It started snowing. People came anyway!

Thanks to everyone that stopped by for the “Dog ‘n’ Pony.” Thanks to Sheila for hosting.

Thanks to 4Culture for helping make this possible.

I’m hoping to host something at my studio for those that couldn’t make it.

Here are a few pics from the event (thanks Rebecca):

We are hiding our nervousness through laughter.

Umm, what do we do now? Who are all these people?

This had better work! Sheila at the press...

Whew. It worked! Sheila once again pulls a good print.

Try Harder

Thanks to everyone that came out – a good turn out despite the cold weather. I’ll post images of the event soon. But first, my new portfolio of prints, “Try Harder.”
