The end is nigh. My show, The How, What and Wherefore at G. Gibson Gallery ends this Saturday, April 18th. Now that tax day has come and gone, come and relax with some eye candy. As as added bonus you can also see Gala Bent’s show, A Chorus for the Multiverse alongside mine.
Gala Bent and I give a talk about our work at G. Gibson Gallery on Saturday, March 21 at 1:00 pm.
It will probably be raining so come on by. You know you want to.
GALA BENT – A Chorus for the Multiverse
BLAKE HAYGOOD – The How, What, and Wherefore

July 12 – August 17
Thursday, August 2 from 6 to 8pm
I made three new paintings for the show:
These paintings do, of course, have snappy titles. I, um, didn’t write them down before they were crated. Until I hear from the fine folks at Robischon (busy with the install) you’ll just have to speculate.
It’s done. The suite is complete. It is called Try Harder and is comprised of 6 prints in an edition of 6 with 6 artist’s proofs. Just kidding, that would be evil. There are just two artist’s proofs.
We unveil it tomorrow at Sidereal Fine Art Press in Tukwila.
Print release party from 2-5, tomorrow – Sunday Nov. 21.
(I picked up several growlers of Manny’s from Georgetown Brewery if that’s any incentive.)

This looks especially tasty:
RESONANCES: CONTEMPORARY ECHOES MODERN

Kathleen and other curators pair artists of different generations together. Can’t wait to see it!
And don’t forget to say hello to Dirty Biter while in town:
